The severely reduced bus frequency explains why it's so hard to find information regarding pick up times at different bus stops. For either the blue or red line, there are only 3 daily departures from taipei main station. We couldn't break our itenary to meet this timing - forget the past 30 minute frequency interval pre covid. This isn't a hop on hop off bus. It's a hop on and stay on bus.

The bus was a poor choice . I have travelled on hop on hop off buses all over the world , this is the first time they have disappointed me . The sights can be seen just as easily on the MRT and then you dont have to wait for the next bus. The lower section of the bus has few seats and you cant see out of the windows or hear the announcements . The ear plugs were not working . Up stairs a lot of the windows has advertising on them making it difficult to take pictures. The driver on 2 buses left the sun roof open in the cold when it was raining and there was no room in the enclosed section. Very poor experience
A great way to see the city..feline blue line!!!

We enjoyed our time on the bus... got out when we wanted, visited the sights, and back on to the next stop...loved the Da’an park, and. Taipei 101 Trade Centre. We stayed on the route to see everything 1st. Easy go,,
