Over the years I've booked several tours with Viator. This one was my worst tour every. The meeting point was hard to find. The guide was late. When she did arrive she was all flustered and unorganised. The tour wasn't that great, most people on the tour left much before it was even concluded. I usually dont write reviews unless its an extreme experience deserving of my time for review. But this tour was a waste of time and it would be criminal of me not to forewarn people considering it. Not sure how it got the ratings it did.

This was a pleasant tour through Yanaka to see a different part of Tokyo from the hustle and bustle of Shibuya and Shinjuku.

I am so happy I was able to see another side of Tokyo on this tour. Our guide Reiko was kind and I formative. She carried pictures and signs to emphasize the stories as we were at each site. She regularly checked with us, especially important was it was very hot, so she found shade, seats, and toilets when we needed them. At the end, she assured we all knew where to go for our next destination. She suggested I visit the National Museum, which I did. She gave me easy directions. A wonderful experience!

This was a great way to see the non-urban metropolis side of Tokyo and another part of its history and culture. Aya was very knowledgable and the experience was very enjoyable that I didn't even realize the time we spent walking.
