What To Expect
Passing Vessel is Sneferu’s signature workshop: an immersive, creative experience built around three acts: receive, create, and give. It begins when you choose a handmade ceramic vessel, glazed and decorated by someone from a previous session. Each vessel carries a small note from its maker, offering a glimpse into the hands that came before you. You will then become a master perfumer and scented candles expert: we will guide you into creating your own custom fragrance and pour a scented candle. While the wax sets, we will have some snacks & drinks in our beautiful garden, and you’ll finally move to the glazing table to decorate a new porcelain jar, leaving it behind for the next guest to discover. At the end of this workshop you’ll leave with a candle that carries your scent and intention, poured into a jar once glazed by another. And in return, you’ll pass on a vessel of your own - decorated, marked, and ready to continue the story. Part fragrance lab, part ceramic studio, part human archive: this is Sneferu’s most personal, hands-on experience.

5.00This class was perfect in every way. It was really two classes in one, plus wine and lunch thrown in. We got a bit of a history lesson, some education about pure fragrance, candlemaking, and then also painting and glazing properties on bisque. Every minute was absorbing an entertaining. On the break for wine and snacks in the garden was very welcome and picturesque. And the price is unbeatable. An experience like this in the States would be twice the price. I plan to bring every visitor to this experience.

5.00This past Saturday I had the pleasure of joining to workshop at Sneferu, and the experience was nothing less than perfect! During the time to choose a scent I was guided with care and expertise by Or and Tiago, who patiently helped me choose the fragrance that felt just right for me from a beautifully rich and diverse collection. We then took a break with a lovely spread of appetizers and delicious local wine, which gave us the chance to connect with the other participants in a warm and relaxed atmosphere. One of the most touching parts of the workshop was painting a vessel for the next guest, a beautiful gesture that truly reflects the values and spirit of the workshop. Or and Tiago thank you for an unforgettable, heartfelt, and inspiring experience 💛
