Your guide James Hart has been conducting tours for more than two decades. As a London “Blue Badge” tourist guide he has a great depth knowledge of the Tower of London and will provide you with plenty of stories about its celebrated residents and its bloodthirsty history. You will enter the towers and rooms of the medieval palace and see the White Tower where King Henry the Eighth’s armour is displayed. You will walk through rooms which held prisoners and visit the private execution site. You will see the dazzling Crown Jewels, and the spectacular Regalia used in the coronations of Kings and Queens for centuries. You will see the resident Yeoman Warders (“Beefeaters”) and the famous ravens.

Clients taking this tour have an opportunity to upgrade with a Crown Jewels Afternoon Tea at the Four Seasons Hotel. A luxurious selection of sandwiches, pastries, scones, and fine teas.

During January, February & March ‘25 the tour will be led by another Viator 5* reviewed local expert.

James was a wonderful tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and engaging and had so much history to share. Also, pretty much everyone who worked at the Tower knew him and was happy to see him - he's a Tower of London star! 10 out of 10 experience!

The Tower of London is very interesting, a must see in my opinion, with the crown jewels being the highlight of the tour. It's a lot of walking so be prepared. Our tour ended up being for just my husband and I as nobody else showed up. Our guide was very personable and knowledgeable and we spent a very pleasant afternoon with her. With that being said, we felt that we overpaid for the tour. It was our first visit to London so I didn't know what to expect. I wish I had shopped a bit more and found a better value.

Comprehensive and in depth tour experience. The Tower of London is so big with so much history we wanted a guide to help us take it all in. Denisa did just that. She took the time to show us around and explain everything. A very good experience and history lesson.

A must tour. Only 7 in our group, allowing Denisa our guide, to keep it intimate. No need for in ear speakers. Relaxing, efficient and informative, denisa had alil the answers to our question and was an enthusiastic storyteller.

Denisa was absolutely wonderful. She was ready and waiting when we arrived at the Sundail and gave a brief overview of the history of London’s significant historical events before taking us on an enlightening tour of The Tower of London.

Denisa was exceptional. Somehow I ended up being the only person in this tour but she made it so engaging. I learned so much history about the Tower of London and I have lots of ideas about what to check out next time I'm here. I was really impressed with her knowledge about the Beefeaters and their residence at the Tower. Highly recommend!

There is a lot to see. Tell your guide what you want to see (the jewels, rooms where Boleyn was held, Walter Raleigh’s rooms, armaments, etc.) A small group allows for flexibility. You will learn a lot! Claudia is wonderful!!
