People from all over the world come to Florence to see him — David. This iconic statue, sculpted by Michelangelo, is widely regarded as one of the most celebrated works of art in history. Towering at over five meters tall, David represents the pinnacle of Renaissance sculpture, capturing both the idealized beauty of the human form and the intense psychological tension of the biblical hero before battle. More than just a statue, David has become a universal symbol of strength, youthful courage, and the enduring power of human creativity.
As you walk through the halls of the museum, you’ll also discover the history behind Michelangelo’s Slaves — unfinished sculptures originally intended to adorn the tomb of Pope Julius II. In addition, take time to admire masterpieces by Botticelli, Ghirlandaio, Giambologna, and explore the fascinating Museum of Musical Instruments!

When we went to pick up the tickets at the meeting point, they told us that because it was a holiday, they couldn't offer the guided tour in Spanish. When we went to the museum after requesting a refund, we were able to enter for free because it was a holiday. This information was not available when the reservation was made.

Seeing Michaelangelo's David while in Florence is a great experience. We enjoyed the rest of the museum as well.

Florence tours were great, easy to find the meeting point, which was close to the gallery. We then proceeded to the entry line and were inside the gallery soon after. Seeing the David and all other artwork was amazing. Absolutely worth visiting.

HORRIBLE and disappointing experience. No signage, and NO HELP, and we missed our reservation to see David. I will NOT EVER book with Viator again!!!! Horrible customer service, and no partial or full refund!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND using this company to book anything.

Our Accademia Gallery tour was an incredible experience, and we can’t say enough good things about The Italy Pass Store and our guide, Fatima. From start to finish, everything was organized and seamless. Fatima was amazing—warm, knowledgeable, and incredibly accommodating. She made sure everyone in our group was comfortable, answered every question with patience, and even adjusted the pace so we could take everything in without feeling rushed. Her passion for art and history really brought the museum to life. Seeing Michelangelo’s David was unforgettable, but having Fatima’s insights and storytelling made it even more special. She went above and beyond to make sure we got the most out of the experience. We highly recommend booking through Viator and The Italy Pass Store. It was a smooth, professional, and enjoyable experience from start to finish—and Fatima was the highlight of it all.

This was not what was expected when paying 50$. It was supposed to get us fast entry but still had to wait in line. Overall confusion from myself and others that booked.

Couldn't find Viatar office to get tickets so missed our tour. However once we found the office the staff member was able to get us skip the line entry without a guide
