This tour was amazing! It’s a really good introduction tour to learn about how anime is made and how to draw manga characters. Our tour guide Masako Nishimura-san was very friendly and helped us communicate with our manga tutor who was also great to learn from and talk to. I went with my Dad who has no drawing experience and he could still follow along and draw!

We had a great time with our guide Masako at the anime museum and a fun private class drawing anime characters. The teacher was a professional anime cartoonist and teacher at an anime university. She was a very good teacher and fun to learn from. Masako was excited to show us around and was a great guide.

Seiko was so friendly and enthusiastic as a guide, sharing her love of anime with the group who was there to explore their love of the art as well. The animator was amazing at demonstrating her drawing skills at the studio.

This Anime Experience was a good way to learn more about the process of anime creation. I would certainly recommend it to other anime fans! Our favorite thing was the anime school, where we got a short lecture from an anime creator. Also, our tour guide (Seiko) was a very lovely person! She was really fun to chat with, especially since we both liked the anime Haikyuu.

Interesting topic but unfortunately the Anime teacher had very poor English and we could hardly understand what she was saying. I strongly recommend if you offer a program in English, to make sure the instructor/ guide is sufficiently proficient.

My girlfriend is an anime lover, so I booked this anime tour about a month before our trip as a gift for her. We were lucky to have Maya-san as our tour guide. I’ve got to say, it was such a cool experience! The tour was super informative, with the pamphlet provided by Japan Awaits and the explanations from Maya-san. I know some anime movies, but I didn’t care much about the history of anime or how they became such famous works. After this tour, I learned so many exciting facts about the anime world and how much the industry has evolved over the years. Most importantly, my girlfriend really enjoyed the tour and said she loved every moment of seeing those anime-related things. The highlight for both of us, though, was meeting the animator, Obata-san. He was so attentive and patient, even with someone like me who isn’t great at drawing. We felt really comfortable learning from him. If you’re an anime fan or just curious about the art behind it, this is definitely worth checking out.

It was a good tour, the tour guide was really kind and friendly. Unfortunately the drawing class was too short in my opinion.

Noriko-san was so warming, dedicated and kind. It made for a great experience. Sensei's class was incredible. I want to do it all over again.
