Make sure to check with the actual tour operator about details, Viator gave me the wrong pick up address. When I arrived at the pick up site early in the morning, given by Viator, it was obviously wrong so I called the tour operator. They contacted me back on WhatsApp. A scooter was sent to drive me 10 minutes in the rain to the correct pick up site. I was fortunate to be using WhatsApp and was able to make to the tour bus, wet. As a booking agent, Viator should be confirming and communicating details correctly to minimize chaos. There are hundreds of booking agents in Hanoi for these trips, if Viator is going to complicate the trip, there is no reason to use them. I have no complaints about the tour operator, they were great and the tour was great.
