Diamond Head State Monument
Our initial stop takes us to an elevated viewpoint nestled on the eastern slopes of the renowned Diamond Head Volcano in Waikiki. This vantage point provides an excellent opportunity to capture stunning photographs of Oahu's southeastern coastline, offering panoramic views that extend to notable landmarks such as Hanauma Bay and, on clear days, even as far as Maui. Familiarly referred to as the Aviator's Vista, this location carries historical significance as the site where spectators gathered to witness Amelia Earhart embark on her pioneering first solo aviation journey from Hawaii to North America.
Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve
Hanauma Bay is a stunning and iconic natural bay located on the southeast coast of the island of Oahu. It is a well-known tourist destination and a popular spot for snorkeling and swimming. The bay is formed within a volcanic crater, which has since been eroded by ocean water, creating a beautiful and sheltered crescent-shaped beach. *We do not stop at Hanauma Bay

5.00Great tour to learn more about Oahu. We stayed in Waikiki which is big city. The other side of the island is really beautiful and more tropical. We enjoyed that side of the island. Caps was our tour guide and was amazing. Very knowledgeable and informative. We greatly appreciated the history lesson

3.00Pleasant but unexciting overview of coast. Waimea Garden is very touristy and underwhelming as a “waterfall swim experience”. Think would have been better to go into Kualoa Ranch or Halewa instead. Driver was 25 min late in morning and in return had to double back for people who did not get off on their stop making us stay on bus longer.
