  Great day at Versailles. The day started out rainy but we fortunately were inside for most of the rain touring the palace. No worries as the bike rental provided heavy duty ponchos to stay dry. Our guide Aurora was exceptional. She was so knowledgeable regarding the historical details of Versailles. Due to the rain we weren't able to picnic but Aurora provided us a recommendation for a lovely restaurant next to the markets. The afternoon cleared for a beautiful bike ride into the surrounding area. Despite the weather we had a fantastic day and we highly recommend this tour.

  After spending nine incredible days in Paris, this Versailles bike tour stands out as my absolute favorite experience. From start to finish, it was beautifully organized, immersive, and truly unforgettable. Our guide, Pauline, was exceptional; she was warm, welcoming, and deeply knowledgeable. She had a way of making everyone in our small group feel included and engaged. Her storytelling brought the history of Versailles to life, blending fascinating facts with just the right amount of humor and context. You could tell she genuinely loves what she does, and her passion made the day even more special. We had a lovely stroll through the local market to gather items for our picnic. We bought fresh bread, cheese, fruit and pastries; the things you dream about when you picture a French countryside lunch. Then we set off on our bikes, which was such a fun and scenic way to explore the expansive grounds of Versailles. If you’re visiting Paris and want a truly unique, enriching day trip, this tour is it. Don’t miss it, it’s everything you’d hope for and more.

  I took this tour with my 15 yr old daughter. We both enjoyed it. Our guide, Naomi, was wonderful. Experienced, patient and so knowledgeable about Versailles and French history. I learned a lot. Expect a very full day, and bring the water and sun protection to prepare for it - 1.5 hrs in the castle, an hour in the upper gardens, biking into the town to shop for lunch (very nice, including a small cheese tasting), biking and picnicking around the lower gardens (stunning), Maria Antoinette’s Hamlet, a brief history lesson, biking back to the train station. You will see Versailles from every viewpoint!
