This tour is more than a simple visit to Peneda-Gerês National Park: it’s a feeling!

Begin your journey with a 4x4 pick-up at the our meeting points, joining a small group of like-minded adventurers. Explore breathtaking mountain landscapes on short walks to a crystal-clear lagoon and a magical waterfall—perfect for grounding yourself in nature or enjoying a refreshing swim.

Step back in time as we visit a typical village, where you’ll discover a fascinating way of life rooted in traditions and a commitment to heritage and cultural preservation.

Food is a great way to preserve culture, and you’ll enjoy a traditional meal in a welcoming local restaurant, featuring fair, flavorful, and delicious food—green wine included!

Take into consideration that the land rover is a vintage car, built for the mountains but not for comfort- some parts of the ride can be uncomfortable.

The paths are downhill and uphill, the terrain can be slippery and you might need to scramble over some rocks.

Normal trip changed to rainy day trip due to excessive weather. Was fantastic trip into Geres Park, seeing the beautiful countryside and local culture. Pedro was great guide , friendly and full of knowledge. Lovely traditional meal and bonus thermal spa pool dip

I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone, particularly if you’re on your own! Our tour guide was Diogo, he was very good at making conversation and helped us learn a lot about life in the national park. The fact he had a strong relationship with the local people meant they were happy to show us their local traditions. Overall a great day, thank you!

Best experience I ever had! Diogo was amazing and patient. Im 57 years old and going back up the mountain was tough but he was patient with me and told me to take my time but I did it! I would do it again and will tell others to go on this journey!!!

I want to give a huge thank you to our tour guide, Mikas, for the outstanding day we spent in Peneda-Gerês National Park. Mikas did an exceptional job making our day fun and full of unique experiences. She's incredibly knowledgeable, caring, and truly an expert in the wild nature of the park. This trip is excellent for nature enthusiasts and fun adventure seekers! You will discover the forest ecosystem and its fantastic views surrounding the mountains- waterfalls, river, and the wildlife. With some good hikes and an excellent tour guide Mikas! She was super friendly, always helpful to my partner she offers him a hand (who just recovered from an injury) very knowledgeable, and Mikas was fun to be around! We definitely would recommend everyone to do this- it’s a great outdoor experience!
