Unfortunately, this tour was heavily impacted by poor weather and other circumstances that were not disclosed until after we had already joined. Prior to the tour, I specifically contacted the operator to ask whether weather would affect the experience and was told it would not. That information was misleading. If there is rain, I strongly recommend canceling—this tour was miserable in bad weather. While we did like our tour guide on a personal level, he made several negative comments about Stonehenge before we even arrived, including saying it was underwhelming and that people pay too much to “see a bunch of stones.” This was incredibly unprofessional and set a negative tone. In contrast, we found Stonehenge to be beautiful and meaningful. The conditions were rainy, cold, and dark by 4 p.m. To make matters worse, we were not returned to our original pickup location because the driver did not want to drive home in the dark and poor weather—yet it was apparently acceptable to transport a full bus of paying guests all day in those same conditions. It felt like little consideration was given to the customers who had paid a significant amount for this tour. Additionally, we were unexpectedly told that we would not be going inside Windsor Castle because it was closed for dusting—information that was never communicated in advance. Missing such a major highlight without prior notice made the tour feel like a poor value. Overall, this experience felt like a rip-off. Once they have your money, you are stuck on a coach bus with no flexibility, regardless of missed attractions or conditions. My advice is to book last-minute based on the weather or choose a private tour so changes can be made if needed. This company did not show concern for the experience we missed out on, and unfortunately, it was not with the cost.

Pauly, our guide, was great. Lots of fun facts mixed in with classic knowledge. The trip is a long day but does not feel overwhelming or rushed. One thing to consider is that Windsor Castle is closed multiple days of the week, if you really want to explore the castle do your research as there really isn’t much to do in Windsor itself. I would recommend taking the train to Windsor if you want to see the castle as it is massive and I am sure you would not have the want to explore on this tour.

DO NOT BOOK THIS TOUR! Had to purchase additional tickets for entry into Windsor when we checked in. Tour was bilingual. We signed up for English. Our tour guide said “ history is boring” so we did not get any charming or witty commentary. Worst of all, we only got one hour to tour Windsor castle!!! We hustled through the apartments but sadly had to miss the doll house and chapel. How disappointing! We were left to walk alone through Cambridge in the dark. If I could leave zero stars, I would.

Wonderful experience... Armando, the driver, very professional. Oliver, the guide, engaging, exciting and enthusiastic. The only flaw is the time is a little tight. Overall top! Congratulations!
