Windsor Castle is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesday, we will offer a walking tour instead on those days.

When the State Apartments are closed the Precincts, Queen Mary’s Dolls’ House and the Drawings Gallery will continue to be open.
St. George’s Chapel is usually closed to visitors on Sundays as services are held throughout the day. Worshippers are welcome to attend the services.

What To Expect
This wonderful day trip will take you to two of the UK’s most iconic attractions and one of the world’s most famous – and charming – cities. Make sure you are at the meeting point for 7:30am as your coach will be leaving at 8am sharp!
Windsor Castle
You will get to the first stop of the day, Windsor Castle, for about 9:30am. This 900 year-old castle perches proudly on a lush wooded hill overlooking the Thames. With its sweeping landscaped gardens and imposing turret, It’s easy to see why Windsor Castle is loved by King Charles II.

1.00This is not a tour. It is a very long bus ride with limited time on the ground. I would not recommend this tour. I would suggest breaking them up so you are not on a bus for six hours and walking around for three hours. The staff was absolutely amazing and the bus driver was safe and nice. BUT the time management was horrible. Took two hours to get to stonehendge, we had only an hour on location then had to get back into the bus for another 1.5/2 hours to the castle. These are not guided tours. Its just a bus ride to the locations and then dropped off with very limited time to adventure around.

5.00There isn’t enough time to do a deep dive into each location, so absorb as much as you can and expect to come away wanting more. Kelvin goes out of his way to give the tours a personal touch and he and Marc made a great team.

5.00Is was a very quick trip through each place. Our guide made sure we all knew the times and everyone was back on time. A bit disconcerted at first as it was in English and then Mandarin, got used to it. Our guide was very knowledgeable and always had a smile. Our driver was also very good, thank you for a lovely day.
