After taking Jonathan's San Francisco private tour we decided he was the guide for us to see Yosemite which has been on our bucket list for years. It is well worth the drive to see this amazing place and don't miss Glacier Point at sunset. The tour was well organize and Jonathan didn't miss a beat. He was very knowledgeable and is love for Yosemite was infectious. As he said, Yosemite never gets old and he should know. He has been coming to the park since he was 10. Are picture says it all. Dont take small group tours. Only a private guide with Jonathan will do.

Jonathan exceeded our expectations. His white Tesla Model 3 pulled up to our hotel, and he greeted us with a big smile. The entire tour was enlightening, with unexpected sights, great conversation, and lots of information that brought the park to life. He could answer any question we sent his way. Jonathan is the real deal, a native of California, and you get a true local perspective. His love for Yosemite is infectious, and I cannot recommend him highly enough.

All the waterfalls and El Capitan were awesome. The trees and trails were fun and the flowering shrubs, trees, and plants were lovely.

Starting with the practical: Jonathan made sure the entire experience (from reservation, to personalizing the tour, to arranging pick-up, to the sensitive calibration of the flow of the day to meet the different interests/needs of the group to the return to our hotel exactly--but exactly--when he said he would (some colleagues had work commitments). We didn't need to worry about a thing and were able to relax and enjoy the beauty. Now to the substance: Jonathan's charisma, intelligence and easy-going storytelling engaged every member of our party exactly where they were most interested. Jonathan was equally comfortable speaking about the geology, wildlife, history, conservation issues, social and political shifts, and on and on. We saw all of the major sites we wanted to see and then some. I can't recommend Jonathan or this private tour more highly. I want to use Jonathan again when I come back later in the year with my family.
