What To Expect
Auckland Arrival
Accommodations
Airedale Boutique Hotel, Central Auckland or similar
Auckland
Arrive International Airport and after clearing customs and collecting your luggage make your way to the arrivals area where you will be meet and transferred to your Auckland Accommodation. Full details of where to meet your transport will be provided with the itinerary once you have booked.
Auckland Central
You will be transferred from the airport to your central city accommodation where you have a one night stay. The remainder of the day / evening is at leisure. Depending on your arrival time there maybe time to explore the central city on your own following arrival.
Auckland Sightseeing and Transfer if required
Auckland Central
This morning you will be collected from the lobby of your hotel for a three hour sightseeing tour of Auckland City
Auckland Domain
As part of the sightseeing tour you will drive through the Auckland Domain providing great views over the city and the home of the Auckland Museum.
Tamaki Drive
The tour will take you along Tamaki Drive which affords you magnificent views over AUCKLAND HARBOUR and Rangitoto Island.
Mission Bay
Proceed along Tamaki Drive to Mission Bay with a stop at Bastion Point on route which provides great views back across the harbour to the central city
Newmarket
The tour then proceeds through Newmarket and Mount Eden
One Tree Hill (Maungakiekie)
In the suburb of Mount Eden the tour will stop at One Tree Hill an old Maori Par site on the top of an extinct volcanic cone. Again this location provides great views of the Auckland and the Harbour
Auckland Harbour Bridge
The tour will include a trip across the AUCKLAND HARBOUR bridge, the main access to the North Shore of Auckland City. The tour will return you to your hotel around 12 noon.
From you hotel there is the option of a transfer from the hotel to your cruise ship berthed in Auckland on the Waitemata Harbour at either Queens or Princes Wharf
