What To Expect

Troms

Our guide and driver will take you to the best location to spot the aurora. The areas we go towards are Hansnes, Sommarøy, Bardufoss and Kilpisjarvi. If we are forced to drive to Bardufoss or Kilpisjarvi, the duration may be extended. On the bus there is a toilet available, we have thermal suits, snacks and warm drinks included as well. The guide will also take proffesional photos which we will share with you. At the end of the tour, the bus will drive back to Tromsø and drop you off at the meeting point.

Timi (guide/photographer) and Leila (driver) selected an excellent location I think it was around Skibotn for us to stop and hunt for the lights, and we had an amazing display. Then we stopped again for snacks/drinks around a fire before returning to Tromso. A fun and informative tour with knowledgeable guides. Thank you!

Well organized and we were lucky to be with a Franco-Norwegian guide, very nice because our English level is very low. We made multiple stops to see the aurora and the route lasted 6h30. The aurora was not candid but visible with a camera. Thanks again to Polar adventure.

The day was very cloudy, but the guide Hans Eric made a question of explaining all the details of the possibility of finding Aurora and did not lose hope, finally, after a change in the initial plans we were able to see Aurora Boreal!! The starting point is not easy to find, which made the start of the tour confusing.

The place of departure is on an unseen deck, they provide thermal clothing, on my day it was not necessary to use, we departed from a bus with the group, we had 2/3 stops , the weather was cloudy, but we were waiting at the last place, which was not the usual, due to the weather conditions. While we waited, cookies, coffee, and hot chocolate were served. They set a fire to heat the place and make marshmallow. Great photos, but paid apart.
