Your local tour guide will meet you at Beijing Airport after reclaiming your luggage and clearing customs. The driver will transport you in a comfortable vehicle to the hotel and help you with the check-in procedure. Your 6-day tour will start at this moment.
Hutong Tour
Then a trip to the old Hutongs will start your Beijing tour. Taking the local rickshaw and traveling along the narrow lanes, you will get a close touch with the original Beijing lifestyle and culture. And also, follow the guide to visit a local family. After that, you will be escorted to your hotel.

Tiananmen Square (Tiananmen Guangchang)
This morning, you will visit Tiananmen Square and see what the biggest urban city square in the world looks like.
Forbidden City-The Palace Museum
From the Tiananmen Square, you will enter the Imperial Palace, also known as the Forbidden City to explore its fascinating halls and pavilions. Here, you will not only learn how the emperor handled political affairs and lived their lives, but appreciate numerous ancient art treasures.
Jingshan Park
Then, proceed to Jingshan Park to the north and climb up to top of Jingshan Hill inside, whichis the best spot to take in a panoramic view of the whole Forbidden City. It takes about 20 minutes to get to the hill top. If you feel tired, the guide will stop anytime. There are chairs in midway for you to take a short break.
Lama Temple (Yonghegong)
Next, go to Yonghe Temple. It was initially a prince’s mansion and later used as a Buddhist temple. You will get some burning incenses for free there. If interested, follow the guide to make some wishes in Buddhism traditions and then offer the incenses to the Buddha.

Mutianyu Great Wall
This morning you will be taken to Mutianyu Great Wall to experience at first hand the wonder of the Great Wall. The round-trip cable car will be arranged. Standing on the wall and looking at it stretching up and down into boundless distance is an exciting experience and will leave you a life-long memory.
Niaochao National Stadium
In the afternoon, on the way back you will have a photo stop at the Olympic National Stadium, also known as the Bird's Nest.
Summer Palace (Yiheyuan)
Summer Palace is the largest and best-preserved royal garden in China. There, you will be amazed by the perfect combination of natural scenery and manmade architecture. When today’s sightseeing ends here, the guide will send you back to the hotel.

Temple of Heaven
After breakfast, you will visit the Temple of Heaven. It was a place for emperors to hold a royal worship ceremony in the past. This place has close contact with the ancient Chinese culture, history and religion even the music. It also reveals the Ancient people’s reverence for imperial power and the strict feudal hierarchical system.
Beijing Railway Station
After that, you will take a high-speed train from Beijing to Shanghai. Upon your arrival in Shanghai, you will see your local tour guide wait for you at the exit. Then you will be escorted to your hotel.

Shanghai Museum (Shanghai Bowuguan)
This morning, Your local tour guide will pick you up at your hotel. You will visit one of the four largest museums in China, Shanghai Museum, which specializes in exhibiting art works from ancient times.
Yu Garden (Yuyuan)
Then, come to the Yu Garden - one of the attractions that you cannot miss in Shanghai. The symbol of the Garden is the Nine Zigzag Bridge built of granite and grass-white jade and the quaint, elegant mid-lake pavilion.
Then the guide will lead you to an ancient cultural street, Tianzifang, where is full of sense of culture and arts.
Huangpu River
The next stop will be Duoyun Bookstore on 52nd floor of Shanghai Tower, to have a bird’s eye view of Huangpu River, the Bund and the surrounding city views. Then, go down to enjoy Huangpu River Cruise. During the cruise, you will admire buildings of western architectural styles along the bustling Bund on west bank and modern skyscrapers of Lujiazui on east bank.

Afterwards, explore the Bund at a leisurely pace. Finally, transfer you back to the hotel.
After breakfast, your private driver and tour guide will drive you to the Shanghai Airport according to your flight and see you off. That's the end of this tour. If you have more time to travel around, we recommend water towns, Hangzhou, Suzhou or Yellow Mountain around Shanghai, which can all be reached by high speed train from the city.
