This was our 1st time anywhere in the Far East, although it has been ambition for some time. The tour was a great insight into Hong Kong, it’s history and evening meal was a culinary experience. Only thing that got in way, was the weather very unpredictable in April.

The tour was OK, You get to see the Peak Tram (And very large Queue to get on) as well as the sights of Hong Kong from Victoria Peak - In our case this was simply a view of the clouds but you can't blame the tour for the weather) The Fishing Village was very disappointing as it wasn't a village as we had thought but just a jetty with an optional boat ride, i assume if you don't take the boat ride you just sit on the dock for a while. The visit to the Police Station got us there just as everything closed so it could have been nicer if we had spent less time being sold at in the Jewelry Shop (Seriously why do we still accept being herded like cattle into a Shop that pretends to be a museum?) The Dinner was not great and I don't know if the boat was late but we missed some of the light show because the boat was head on and their was only a small area where you could view forwards. After the tour we had to wait a long time for the coach to pick us up, which you don't need after a long day out.

Guide very knowledgeable, though it was a very typical tour fast pace and not enough time at the points of interest that mattered. Could do without the jewellery and government buildings visit and more time at The Peak. The food on the cruise was average but the entertainment made up for it. Its not a tour for a family with young kids as I am glad we did not have our kids with us due to the fast pace

We went to a reasonable number of places, though the Guide was weak and did not give too much details of the places visited. The Van provided was not clean and dirty. The dinner cruise was just average, the live music was below average. Half of the 45 tables were empty. $124 I paid for the tour was valued at no more than $75

We enjoyed this tour tremendously. The Peak, the sanpan ride and the night dinner cruise where our favorite. The only downside was there were three changes in guides throughout the day, and there were some stops that seemed more like they were just filling time. All in all, happy with the tour and would recommend.

I usually tend to do things on my own but I had very little time in Hong Kong and thought this would be a good way to get a lot of value out of my day. This is really my first "guided" activity when traveling so I don't have anything to compare it to. Take that for what you will... I enjoyed the tram ride, which was the first thing we did. There were good views over Hong Kong. We then went on a short boat ride, which was interesting. You get to see a lot of different boats. Everything from yachts and commercial fishing fleets to small fishing boats and house boats. You also see the worlds largest floating restaurant which is very ornate. It seemed like the middle of the day was filler. They took us to a fairly uninteresting plaza in Hong Kong and showed us several big bank buildings and a statue of an old administrator of HSBC, we went to a jewelry company (not really my thing) and a shopping center/art exhibit where I did end up buying a new travel wallet. The final activity was a dinner cruise which was nice. The dining area was more classy than I was expecting, and the buffet food had a good variety of eastern and western style dishes. Water coffee and tea is included, but any thing else was additional. The light show in the harbor was underwhelming. The few buildings that participate get swallowed up in the already impressive sea of advertisements and lights that are always on and active in the skyline. The speakers broadcasting the music on the ship were very quiet.

Tour was fantastic and would highly recommend it - the evening dinner cruise was a lovely way to end the day and the food was great!

This tour had a reasonable selection of places we visited but the inability of our guide to let everyone know what was going on tended to spoil things. He turned us loose in the PFQ, for example, for an hour and a half with very little explanation of what to expect or what we were seeing. The fact that the Peak view was totally obscured by cloud cover was also a disappointment. The jewelry factory visit was also a bit hard sell.

It was a good day, shame it was spoilt by a couple of activities that were not wanted or needed. The trip up to the peak was just awesome, but it was so rushed we only had about 30 minutes to take in the view, and eat if you wanted to. If they cut out the pointless trip to a jewellery factory and the trip to the 800-meter escalator which is not a world record length as its about 8 100 meter escalators who wants to see an escalator anyway? The trip to the jewellery factory was a total waste of time, we spent over an hour being hassled to buy jewellery that none of us wanted, we all would of much rather had that time on the peak seeing the views. Also, there is a lot of walking and there were a few elderly people in our group and because most of the day was rush rush rush, the elderly where struggling to keep up The evening boat trip with dinner was awesome, the food was excellent, the actual laser light show was a bit of a letdown, but that didn't matter as the whole evening was good. If this tour was tweaked slightly cut out the rubbish that most don't want to see and slow the day down a bit so its not so rushed it would be an excellent day.

Excellent first experience in Hong Kong. We were in the city for a short time and enjoyed the cable car with fast pass lane, the extraordinary view of the sky terrace. The sanpanboat tour was also very interesting.
Our guide Rex was very kind, helpful and interesting, we learnt a lot about hong kong population and way of living.
The visit of the jewellery was ok too, I bought a nice black pealr bracelet, I did not feel pressed by the sellers.
Finally the cruise dinner buffet was excellent lots of choice of occidental and oriental food, the view of Hong Kong by night is amazing laser show deceiving, I imagined something more impressive.
Really enjoyed the tour !!!! Would never have seen all these things by myself in one afternoon.
Moreover, we were picked up in a hotel which is not on the list, which was very convenient.
