  Barry was a very knowledgeable, kind, accommodating, and articulate guide, as well as an excellent driver. The day-long tour of the Yorkshire Dales was beautiful and more broadly enjoyable than a mere tour of filming locales would have been — I was very pleasantly surprised by the thoroughness of the tour.

  It was not only an All Creatures tour, but also a general tour of the Dales. We learned about the history, the agriculture, the flora and fauna, and the people of the Dales. Got to stop and walk around a village where the outside of the Drovers was located. The stop at the Wensleydale creamery was lovely and we had a delicious lunch there. Wonderful driver/tour guide.

  It runs on time, it’s very interesting, nice stops along the way. plenty of time to visit and explore. Lots of nice roadside stops for beautiful views and photography.

  John was our guide and he was wonderful and was extremely knowledgeable. I took my mom on this trip cause she loves the show All Creatures Great and Small. If you love the show or want to see the beautiful Yorkshire Dales I would do this tour!

  Fabulous way to see the Dales and learn about the people and history. Ben A was so knowledgeable and friendly. Comfortable bus. Great itinerary. Lunch at the Wensleydale Creamery allowed lots of different options. Visited a couple of beautiful churches too. Worth noting that in Nov Bolton Castle is closed so unable to go inside. Even in the rain the countryside is stunning and Aysgarth Falls spectacular. Thoroughly recommend the trip.

  Our day in the Yorkshire Dales hosted by our driver and guide, John, was an excellent experience. He has a tremendous knowledge of Yorkshire history as well as the current features that make it an interesting tourist journey. We are fans of the All Creatures James Herriot series, but the tour encompassed much more than this. Highly recommended.

  Absolutely Fantastic! That's the only way to describe this tour. Our tour guide was a wealth of information. The country side we passed through was stunning and visiting some of the filming sites for show was perfect. It was money well spent. We couldn't fault anything. Thanks you sooo much for a fantastic day.

  This tour was the perfect way to explore the Yorkshire Dales. John, our driver and guide, was absolutely amazing. We saw the major All Creatures sites, which was fantastic, but this tour was so much more! Throughout the day, John explained the history of the area and shared so many interesting stories and information. He was wonderful about giving us an overview of our plans for the day and was incredibly knowledgeable about the area. Although it was raining during a portion of the day, it did not negatively affect our experience - we were actually able to see so many beautiful waterfalls throughout the area due to the rain that we would have missed if the weather had been perfect. The Dales are truly a beautiful spot in this planet and I highly recommend leaving the driving to this tour group as some of the roads are crazy narrow/can be flooded and it was so relaxing to be able to enjoy the scenery and not worry about having a car. Book this tour! You will be so glad that you did.

  What a beautiful magical day. This tour was just the best day out. The driver/guide Barry was so warm,kind friendly and was so knowledgeable about all the places we passed by and visited. Grassington was so pretty, could've stayed all day, lovely visit to the church,very moving as they had Rememberance poppies covering the churchyard and inside too. Hawes and Wensleydale Creamery were equally just as lovely,I enjoyed cheese on toast at the creamery which was so tasty. Aysgarth Falls were magical,plenty of time for some pictures. On our travels we came across a dog that appeared to be wandering around on his own,Barry brought him on board and rang the owners, as it happens he was a local doggie and his owner wasn't far away,he was friendly and enjoyed lots of attention from my fellow passengers. Bolton Castle was very atmospheric,we were given wristbands to get into the castle free of charge,while wondering around we stumbled across staff that were getting parts of the castle ready for a wedding,a lovely setting for a wedding. I will definitely be booking again this tour was outstanding,I don't drive and would never be able to get to any of these places, great value for money. The coach was comfortable and warm with charging ports for phones and we were able to take drinks and snacks on board too. A comfortable drive back into York and dropped off on time.
