1.00Absolutely ripoff, walked about half a mile and we were told a couple of childish ghost stories. We were informed by a local man after that these walking tours are Yorks bigest con. As you get up to sixty people on them paying £15 each, earning the guide up to £900 for an hours work. Should be banned.

3.00Based on the reviews I'd read, my expectations were a little higher. The tour guide was certainly friendly and solicitous but definitely over-acted. I would have preferred a more straight ahead walking tour of the haunted places. It felt like she was going for dramatic scare and less about information. I found it disjointed and I left the walk halfway through.

5.00Mad Alice was engaging and captivating. She remembered everyone’s name and it was quite a large group. Even let me take a picture with her. Was a little star struck because I follow her on TikTok and I always watch her videos, was amazing to see her in person!
