An epic day trip from Rome to the archaeological site of Pompeii and the picturesque Amalfi Coast, both UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Enjoy a private group trip in an air-conditioned minivan with an assistant. The first stop is Pompeii: our official guide will accompany you to visit the main areas, such as the Macellum, the Baths, the meeting places of the Romans and the homes of the wealthiest citizens, to learn about their habits and customs. After Pompeii, we will head to Positano, an ancient seaside village.
Stop for lunch, sightseeing, shopping and relaxation.
The trip continues with a visit to Amalfi or one of the other pearls of the Amalfi Coast, such as Maiori or Vietri sul Mare, where you can taste the famous local liqueur "Limoncello" and their delicious sweets. Continuing, we will return to Rome bringing with you images and scenarios that you will remember forever.

5.00Our driver was very experienced in driving on the narrow windy streets, the highway, and dealing with motorcyclists, and pedestrians. Our tour assistant was very kind and saw to our every need. Hd pointed out different historical things along the way. He was also aware when we had, had enough time and were ready to go back to Rome. We had a great guide in Pompeii, who was very knowledgeable. Our lunch in Positano was amazingly delicious and the view of the sandy beach and ocean was spectacular.

5.00This was such an amazing adventure to finish off our last day in Italy. Rishi our guide and Luigi our driver did not disappoint. They picked us up right outside our hotel lobby door and filled us in on what our day would look like. They even stopped for breakfast on the way since it was so early. They were both so knowledgable and kind. Luigi added lots of humor. First stop Pompei… so historical and we learned so much. It was great that Rishi got us a guide and said he would meet us when we were done. He was right there when we finished as we started our drive to the Amalfi coast. He and Luigi would give us extra tips and point out other areas of interest along the way. Luigi was always willing to pull off the side of the road for fabulous pictures. Positano did not disappoint. It was more beautiful than we all imagined. Again Rishi went above and beyond and made a reservation for lunch at a fabulous restaurant seaside and beachfront. Best meal!! We had time to shop and then he set up a limoncello tasting. After that since we were a group of six he asked if we wanted to see Sorrento. Another town with breathtaking views. We always felt safe and they asked if we needed to stop along the way for a restroom break. Everything was perfect up until the end as they drove us right back to the hotel. We hated to see this all day adventure end but we have memories for a lifetime. Do not pass this up… long day but totally worth it!

5.00I was picked up early at the hotel. It was an English-language tour. My English language skills are a bit limited, our guide Nariman adapts great and helped where he could. First we went to Pompeii. A local guide was waiting for us there, who showed us the eastern part of Pompeii. With a lot of love and great knowledge, he explained to us how people lived and died. (To see the ancient city completely, you would need several days).Pino 2 drove us safely on towards Amalfi. The coast is fantastic! We made stops for photos. In Positano - a charming little village on the Amalfi Coast - we had lunch overlooking the sea. Nariman had reserved tables for us there. Afterwards we had time to explore the place. In Sorrento we stopped again for a coffee break. On the way home we were able to buy the best noodles in Italy. After 13 hours we arrived back at the hotel. Thanks to Pino 2 and Nariman for the wonderful day!

5.00It was a long day, but worth every penny! A magical tour of Pompeii and the Amalfi coast. Truly so worth it. Our day trip guide was Yara, who was incredibly knowledgeable and shared tons of history and culture along the way. She speaks more languages and is incredibly sweet and smart. Our Pompeii guide was Paolo who was excellent. The driver, Emmanuele, navigated all the turns of the Amalfi coast so easily that none of us were even worried despite the hair raising road. This trip was the perfect amount of history and culture, without overwhelming. You are taking too long. The pace was perfect and we enjoyed about two hours and Positano as well. We got to stop in several small towns around the coast that really felt like we saw a ton. Good communication overall, and as long as you’re prepared for a long day, it wasn’t too exhausting.

5.00It was a great way to get out of the crowded city and experience more areas along the east coast of Rome! Having someone who knows where they are going drive you and show you around made it a super relaxing way to explore. Positano was always on my bucket list, but now I know it was perfect for a day trip but I wouldn’t want to stay there as it has turned into a cruise ship stop, we our guide tools us down the coast to a more quiet, mostly local area which are the types of areas we love to find. And Pompeii was somewhere I never knew I needed to see - super interesting and a private tour is the way to go! Definitely worth the expense and the day.

5.00My wife and I booked this tour because it sounded perfect for us and had great reviews. It did not disappoint. The tour of Pompeii was 2 hours and long enough.. Watch your step on those stones! The tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly. Positano was lovely. We had our 2 hours there which was plenty. We got back later than expected but traffic on Sunday was a bear and not the tours fault. The shining stars were the very nice driver Emanuele. And Yara was the best. Very informative about Pompeii, Positano and describing places and sites on the way down. Which helped because any way you look at it, it's not a short distance. REQUEST YARA!!
