Japanese sencha (green tea) and a traditional Japanese sweet (one per person)
- First, you will change into a kimono at a rental shop. - Once you are dressed, we will walk to the Japanese dance experience venue (about a 3-minute walk). - Upon arrival, we’ll start by enjoying Japanese tea and traditional sweets while giving you an introduction to Nihon Buyo (Japanese classical dance). You will learn about its history and key features, explained clearly in English. - After the explanation, it’s time to experience the dance! We will teach you the basic postures, walking techniques, and how to use the folding fan. Once you practice these basics, you will learn simple choreography to dance along to a song. The choreography is designed for beginners, so don’t worry! Once you're ready, you’ll perform the dance to music — and you are welcome to record your performance on video. - After the experience, you can either continue exploring in your kimono or change back into your clothes — whichever you prefer. (Please return the kimono to the rental shop by 5:00 PM on the same day.)
