We have taken many tours — this tour was excellent. Yannick, the tour guide, was extremely knowledgeable. He had pictures of the actual members of the unit and took us to places that showed where the pictures were taken. Highly recommend this tour. When I return to this area I will check with the HQ Company Tour before any other tour companies.

Sophie was so knowledgeable and gave the most amazing tour. It exceeded our expectations. She was able to describe the location of the troops along with strategic plans and details about the landing and paint a vivid picture of what they experienced on that day. We toured Omaha and Utah beach along with the American Cemetery where she explained how many troops were buried there along with those that were still missing in action. We loved the Marmion farmhouse where American troops stopped and took pictures and we were able to see where they actually stood. We cannot recommend this tour enough! As we rode from town to town Sophie answered all of our questions about the area, the French resistance, even the local cuisine. Her wonderful personality was one of the highlights of the trip!

This full day tour provided further historical insight for WWII, Normandy Beaches and Band of Brothers enthusiasts. The tour followed in the footsteps of the brave men who were willing to risk their lives on this dangerous and nearly impossible mission.

If you are Band of Brothers fan or just want to learn about WWII and D-day, this is the tour for you. Our driver/guide, Mickael, with HQ Company Tour is wonderful. He has wealth of knowledge about WWII and his visual aids greatly enhanced the experience. He is also very familiar with Band of Brothers and points out places referenced in the story. It is a small group tour with personal touch. Mickael dropped off people in our group that were taking trains back to Paris at Bayeux Train Station. Since we were staying on, he provided some dinner recommendations. Definitely recommend this tour.

Morning tour was disappointing . Guide took us to one bunker then told us to visit other ones on our own due to rain. But all other tour companies guides went with them and explained more. Also, she should tell us a lot more about D-Day between stops or play an audio. Afternoon discussion was a lot better explaining about and showing us the Band of Brothers battles, the church with the 2 medics, etc. And Corrine. the tour guide, was very nice and knowledgeable.

Mikael was our tour guide for the day and we’re very appreciative of the information and the care that he gave us. We came away from the tour with a much better understanding of the events of June 6, D Day. We highly recommend Mikael as an outstanding tour guide.

Our tour guide Gwen is a fountain of information about the history of D-Day and the Battle for Normandy, as well as the Band of Brothers series and the escapades of Major Winters and Easy Company. We spent an amazing morning learning about the landing at Omaha Beach and the attack by the Rangers at Pointe du Hoc, and paying a somber and emotional visit to the Amerocan cemetery. Gwen gave us several suggestions for lunch at Sainte-Mere-Eglise, and gave us enough time for a short unplanned visit to the Airborne Museum. Finally, the afternoon was devoted to some of the great stories of the Band of Brothers. Gwen was so efficient that he made time for other unplanned side visits to significant sites. Highly recommend Gwen and HQ Company for all tours of the sites in and around Normandy.

Our group was 7 people. She was just ok explaining D day. There was no stopping at the museum. We spent 1.5 for lunch, I wish we could use a hour in the museum.
