This is an incredible tour of the Normandy area and history. Our guide Sophie was so versed in the history and able to answer questions as well as provide photos and graphs to make the history come alive! Seeing the beach and towns and countryside as they related to D-Day really brought it home! Experiencing the American Cemetery was as daunting as the numbers of casualties from that day are. Sophie was also so very kind and helped with the needs of my husband who is traveling for the first time using a walker and other physical limitations. We were so grateful for Sophie. The surprise of the day came when we were looking at the monument by the farm field; it was time for the herd of cows to come home and it was amazing to watch! Thank you for this opportunity! Donna and family!
