We picked up a speedboat on the jetty in Sai Kong - 5 adults and 2 kids. Our daughter and S-I-L live in Hong Kong and we had been in the small town for breakfast and saw the tour master and negotiated a price for our own speedboat for our group. The sea was choppy which added to the adventure and a 2 hour tour around the islands in the New Territories of HK. The highlight was the basalt rock formations - a UNESCO site-and the sea arches of the islands in a fast boat. Definitely something to consider if you have time to see something different in HK.

Our guide, Joyce, was wonderful and well spoken, and had a clear passion for what she was talking about. She took pictures for us let us know so many things about the geological features of the arches and islands near Sai Kung.

Booking this boat trip through Viator was simple and straightforward. The tour operator sent a confirmation message the day before and set up a WhatsApp group for easy communication, which was very helpful. The tour guide was friendly and energetic, making the trip enjoyable. The sailing experience was lovely, with clear waters, stunning sea arches and beautiful sea views in Sai Kung. Overall, a well-organized and pleasant trip. Definitely worth trying!

This is easily one of my favourite tours in HongKong. Fanny is an amazing lively guide. The speedboat driver was also quite skilful. The tour didn’t feel hurried, Fanny checked with everyone if we wanted pictures, explained about the geology of the place and also the details and shapes of the rock formations. Overall a 5/5

Great day apart from the awful climb up the hill on the second island, which I hated. The guides were very good, and I got a lot of help and understanding from the other guests
