Enjoy a 2-hour visit discovering amazing masterpieces home to the Borghese Gallery. You will meet your Tour Guide in front of the Gallery, receive headsets to listen clearly, and enter with skip-the-line entrance tickets. Your visit will start on the ground floor where you will get the chance to visit Bernini's famous " Rape of Proserpina" and learn about the latin myth behind this amazing masterpiece. Your visit will continue by discovering other famous masterpieces created by Bernini such as " Apollo & Daphne" and " David".
Your journey will then continue to the first floor where your Tour Guide will show you acclaimed paintings made by Raphael and Caravaggio, such as the " Young sick Bacchus" and " Boy with a basket of fruit". Not only will the statues and paintings leave you astonished, but the Gallery itself is beautifully adorned with gold crown mouldings and frescoes covering entirely the ceilings.

5.00Our guide (I think her name was Silva or Silvia) was simply incredible! She was well-paced, detailed, and so fascinating to listen to. It was clear she truly adores the Borghese and its art, and that passion made the experience even more special. Hearing her describe the details and symbolism in Bernini’s Hades and Persephone brought the sculpture to life — it was unforgettable. An excellent day all around, and I’d highly recommend this tour!

1.00There was no tour guide. I did receive accurate communication about where to meet a person in the garden, who gave us the tickets to enter the gallery. We entered the gallery, walked through the whole gallery, there was no tour guide anywhere to be seen. I would have been happy to pay Viator to expedite the admission ticket. I do not think I should have paid for a tour guide who was nonexistent

5.00The Gallery was so beautiful with all of the sculptures, furniture and paintings were amazing and by famous sculptors and painters. There were places to sit in the middle of the room and they had nice bathrooms in there.
