This wine tour was a great way to kick off our vacation. We got to see some beautiful vineyards and countryside. The tour guide was knowledgeable, and kept us moving at a good pace without feeling rushed. The only negative was that one stop was not in a vineyard but a tasting room along the side of the road, so there was no ambience and no beautiful vineyard vistas.

What a wonderful experience. Our tour guide, Donna did an amazing job sharing the history of the Otago area and vineyards. She was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the wines. We had a great bunch of folks on our tour and that always adds to the event. This is a wine tasting and it absolutely lived up to my expectations. We tried at least 20 different wines. Several from our group purchased bottles to drink while in NZ, we are buying ours through the wine collective.

You get to tast 20 different wines from 4 wineries! It's very well orchestrated and fun to indulge in the wine tasting! However, there is no experience of how wine is actually made. No visits to the vineyards. It's just wine tasting....

Excellent wines, mostly pinot noir. Very scenic drive. Our guide John was very knowledgeable and very entertaining. Small group size worked out well.
