  Cannot recommend highly enough! Donato customized the tour for us, moved us along when needed for the kids, asked them interesting and engaging questions and made the whole experience better. Avoiding lines and learning much more than we would have otherwise was great.

  For a family tour, I do believe there were opportunities to make it more interactive for the kiddos (role play, costumes, etc). However our tour guide was super informative, the process was seamless and the small group was much appreciated.

  Marco was a PHENOMENAL tour guide! He was the highlight of the kid’s trip. We went with our 4 and 6 year old and they loved playing the floor is lava at the arch of Constantine. Marco was so engaging the kids didn’t even notice when we had a short wait in line through security. Marco made the experience fantastic for us all!

  Visiting the Colosseum with Alessandra was one of the highlights of our time in Rome. She was absolutely amazing with my kids (all under 12). From the very start, she kept them engaged with fun games, interactive storytelling, and creative ways to visualize what life in the arena and the Forum was like. She had pictures and props that made the history come alive, and she encouraged the kids to be active participants in the conversation rather than just listeners. It was a decent amount of walking, but Alessandra made it easy and enjoyable for the whole family. The kids were entertained the entire time, something I didn’t think possible after doing so many other tours. Out of all the guides we had in Rome, Alessandra was hands down the best. She struck the perfect balance of fun and learning, making the Colosseum experience unforgettable for all of us. Highly recommended for families with children, you won’t regret it!

  Our whole family really loved our family tour of the Colosseum with Roberta as our guide. We have children aged 7-12 and she catered for us all. Roberta was a fantastic story-teller and really had us all engaged in the history of the Forum and the Colosseum. She had a wealth of new knowledge for the adults who'd visited the sites years ago, and even kept our high energy seven year old listening pretty constantly. She had great printed material to help us visualise, games to suit the ages of the kids and even some props in her bag to bring the tour and stories to life. A definite highlight of our time in Rome and Italy, can't thank Roberta enough - she's a treasure.

  Roberta was an energetic informative and fun guide who made sure to keep us all interested and well shaded in the August heat. She pitted the parents against the kids in a quiz battle throughout the tour and by the end, well, the rightful group won the victory. All of us won on this tour. Not too long, and well done even for those who might not have started out very interested in all these old stones and stories about history. Great way to get kids interested in history without suffering through loooooong lines. Our tour group lines were very short compared to going it alone.

  We had a great tour with Sara. She provided lots of fascinating information & insights throughout the tour. She did a get job engaging with my 11yr old nephew to keep him interested. The two hours flew by. We would highly recommend booking this tour when visiting Rome.
