For those visiting Rome, the Colosseum is a must and, with this tour, you have the opportunity to discover all its secrets thanks to an expert guide who will take you on a journey through the millenary history of Rome. Meet your tour guide and enter the Colosseum without waiting in long lines. Once inside, you will visit the main levels and learn how the gladiator shows were organized, and how they fought for their lives for the entertainment of the population. In addition to the Colosseum, your tour will also include a visit to the Palatine Hill and the Roman Forum: be prepared to discover places full of charm and history, listening to anecdotes about the life of the ancient Romans. Please provide the full names of all travelers when booking. Failure to present a voucher with all travelers' full names at the ticket office prior to entry may result in denied entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.

Sometimes on the occasion of public events, or for extraordinary reasons, the archaeological area of the Colosseum, Roman Forum, and Palatine Hill can undergo partial or total closures. In these cases, you will be contacted as soon as possible
All participants' names must be provided at the time of booking. Those who provide incorrect names or names that do not match those on their ID will not be granted access to the monument, and no refund will be issued.
Starting from October 18, 2023, nominative tickets have been introduced for the Colosseum. All guests must have an ID with them as they may be required to show it at the entrance. As tickets are purchased in advance, this tour is non-refundable.
The starting time can vary by about 30 minutes, we will inform you in case this eventuality arises
Each traveler must present a valid passport or ID document that matches the name provided at the time of booking for successful entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.

What To Expect
Colosseum
Meet your guide and start your tour by admiring the imposing facade of the Colosseum, learning how and when it was built. what was its purpose and how it originally looked. Enter the venue using the dedicated group entrance, avoiding the line for the tickets, and get ready to admire the interiors. You will find out how the spectators were divided into the tiers on the basis of their social class, who were the gladiators and how their bloody battles were organized. Your guide will tell you all the secrets and curiosities about this place and indicate the perfect spots to take great pictures!
Palatine Hill
After the Colosseum tour, it's time to see the place where it all began- The Palatine Hill, in fact, is the place where Rome was founded, and, centuries later, the emperors choose this hill as the perfect place to build their residences. This is the perfect place where nature and history merge: among the trees, there are some very precious ruins rich in history. The remains of villas and fountains can be admired in their splendor in the peace of the park. We are sure you will love this place!

5.00Tour was well worth the price, our tour guide Andy was fantastic, so knowledgeable, friendly and kept our group to time ensuring we got the most out of the experience. He told us things that we could never have discovered doing our own visit and showed us sights which we wouldn’t have come across by ourselves. Highly recommend! Shout out to the tour organisers too who were also very good. I’d 100% suggest doing this tour. Getting into the colosseum was easier too via a group tour.

5.00Amazing experience! Went way beyond and exceeded expectations. Andy was our tour guide and he was so well versed in the history and he was very entertaining and kept the whole group engaged and entertained. He even took photos of everyone in all the best spots. You could really sense his passion and love for Roman history and it made it made the tour that much better. He answered all of our questions in depth and tied everything together very well! He kept everyone together and informed and was sure to be very aware and inclusive of everyone's needs. 11/10 especially if your a history lover. Exemplary tour guide. Bravo.

5.00My experience with Roman Way was incredible! Our tour guide, Aferdita was charismatic and full of excitement. I was blown away by the colosseum and the history behind it . The crowds weren’t bad but the weather was very hot, luckily the tour guide gave us many opportunities to refresh with the water fountains and tried to keep us out the sun at much as possible.
