Bloodthirsty Romans gathered in this ancient stadium of death to watch gladiator fights and executions, and your guide will explain every gory detail. You'll enter the Colosseum through the special access gladiator's gate, and avoid the crowds in the general access areas.

In addition to the Colosseum, you'll visit the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill (Cesar's Palace). Surrounded by picturesque ruins we'll visit ancient palaces, temples, tombs, the House of the Vestal Virgins, and the Senate house before finishing the tour at the tomb of Julius Cesare.

This 2.5 hour tour concludes in the center of Rome, leaving easy access to local restaurants, cafes, shopping, and public transportation.
