It was an in-depth tour with a small group. Very knowledgeable and engaging guide. It was easy to find him at the meeting point. The only thing that I didn’t enjoy is listening to others in group who had a lot to say about what else they have seen in other cathedrals …. I guess not much can be done about that when not on a private tour.

Getting booked through Viator in advance was worth skipping the queue. The communication at booking was very good; however it might be good to warn people that the meeting place is for multiple groups, so it can be a bit confusing initially. However, the guides quickly sorted us out like baby ducks & off we went. Our guide, Mary, was fantastic & very knowledgeable about the Westminster Abbey, & very good about getting us into all the nooks & crannies to explore. Be prepared to be on your feet, lots of walking & crowds. It was worth it!
