  Don't believe one will get to visit all the sites paid for. We saw the Eiffel Tower and Louvre, but not Notre Dame, our primary choice to visit.

  The tour started very early, which we knew would set to be a long day. However we did not get to go into the Notre Dame like scheduled which left us with over 3 hours of unscheduled time. The tour guide who was actually awesome (you are great Pierre!) dropped off the group at the station at 6pm and our train didn’t leave until 9:00pm. They were charging 300 euro a person to change to an earlier train back to London so we just had to wait it out. We didn’t get back to London till well after 10:30 even with the time change. Overall the tour started really well but having all that extra time and not seeing such a big portion of the tour which we paid for was such a shame and wouldn’t recommend. I’ve a ton of tours with Viator and never had issues so this was not my usual experience. It was also my birthday so a bit more disappointing. I requested a partial refund so let’s hope Viator makes it right.

  We had a great time with this tour! Glad we got to see Paris while visiting London. Eurostar tickets will be emailed to you ahead of time and it said on the tickets to be at St Pancras Station at 5:15 A.M. but the meet and greet person did not arrive till 5:45 A.M. Golden Tours website did say meet at 5:30 A.M. The person just made sure everyone was there at the Paul Le Cafe and then he guided us to the boarding area. Before we got to Paris, we found out from the Eurostar announcement that there was a big strike in Paris. There was no public transportation in Paris that day so there was traffic. The shuttle driver was pretty good in avoiding the high traffic areas. We were just glad that the Louvre and Notre Dame were open. Eiffel Tower was close but the grounds were open so we were able to walk underneath the Tower with Carlos. Carlos was very good in guiding us in where to go and he was very informative about the area. We were also able to use a free restroom at a shop near the Eiffel Tower where Carlos and the driver brought us. And then he gave us 1.5 hours to grab lunch on our own around the same area. There were lots of restaurants to choose from. It was plenty of time to sit down and have a nice lunch. Carlos walked with us to the Louvre and went inside the museum to give us our tickets. Then he gave us instructions on the different layouts of the museum. We walked on our own and the Mona Lisa had plenty of signs on where to go. At the end of the tour, they dropped us off and Carlos went inside Gare du Nord station to give us further instructions on where to board. Highly recommend this tour if you are in London and want to see Paris in a day.

  Do not take this tour!! It was absolutely awful. Our train from London was over an hour and a half late to start. Our guide in Paris, Eric, did not have on any ID and it took us over 30 minutes to find him in the train station. He did not purchase our Eiffel Tower tickets ahead of time as promised and we had to stand in line for 90 minutes in the sun to buy tickets like all of the other tourists. After that, we only had 20 minutes in the tower. It took 10 minutes for the elevator line, so we really had only 10 minutes to enjoy the view. We then took off for the the Louvre. The 'Panoramic Coach Tour' of Paris NEVER happened. At the Louvre, he forgot his ticket and told us how to find the Mona Lisa on our own. We again only had 20 minutes since we were late and he had no plan for a schedule. So our group ran in, found the painting, and ran back out. We did not see anything else or have time to take photos around the museum. That is when Eric let us know that our coach driver ABANDONED us at the Louvre because he said there was 'too much traffic'. So we were at the Louvre with no transportation. Eric decided that he wasn't even going to try to get us to Notre Dame because it was just 'too crowded', so we NEVER went to Notre Dame. We didn't even drive by it. His plan was to take us back to the Eurostar station via the underground. But since he only moved to Paris two months ago, he had no idea how to purchase tickets or to navigate the trains. And he had no money, so we had to purchase our own tickets and ask people in the train station how to do that. They were not kind. It was a nightmare. He dumped us off at the Eurostar station at 6:00 PM to wait for our 8:12 PM train, which is an hour earlier than what is recommended by Eurostar for check-in. The train ended up being delayed until 9:30 PM, so we sat in an unair-conditioned train depot for over three hours. When I contacted Golden Tours requesting a refund, they stated that it was the responsibility of the tour company in Paris, not them. The Paris company said that they 'tried' and it was beyond their control, so they were not offering any refund. Golden Tours has since ghosted me.

  Really great tour of the three spots; did not have to wait in lines. The two young men were good but I would suggest some improvements: 1. Headsets would really help. Since your guides did not go in, they talked about the places while we walked. Only the few people close to them could hear. 2. The use of flags would help. Guides walked faster than most of us could and it was very congested with people. They held their hand up but a taller more obvious sign would help. 3. Waiting at the train station was a pain. No seats available and it is not comfortable there - stuffy and so many people. We had to check in 1.5 hours before on the way to London and we were at train station 2.5 hours before the train in Paris; would be nice to get an earlier train since there were other trains going back to London before ours. 4. Driver had to be told almost every time to turn on some air in the bus. Very humid and stuffy. 5. The instructions and times were conflicting. One part said meet at 5:15, one said 5:30 and another said 5:45. That early in the morning 30 minutes makes a big difference. 6. My instructions said we would be returning at 8:15 or 8:30 pm depending on where I looked. Actually, we were to return to London at 10:30 pm and that was not stated anywhere. 7. Food options not that great in train stations. No sit down places and a lot of benches with no backs. Lines were long. Initial guide told us there was a nice lounge waiting for train with food options but it really was not nice - just ok. Wish they would have told us more how it was after check in and allowed us to wait at a restaurant with seats instead of having to go to that congested waiting area 1.5 hours ahead of time. 8. Guides should tell us more about toilet options at each place and if it costs and what it costs so can be prepared. Guides were friendly and knowledgeable and helpful.

  Well planned overview of a few of Paris highlights. Transportation was clean and safe. Tour guide was knowledgeable and organized. We had a good time. I recommend that before you leave home, review all the sites and stops that your paid itinerary will include because some people on your tour will have chosen other options. Great customer service from aviator.

  There was not enough time to do all the things listed on the brochure. I would not recommend buying sovereigns at the guide’s recommended store, two store over have better prices. Everything was so rushed. We didn’t even get a chance to eat. I would not recommend this tour.
