While the hot and humid weather didn’t help the efforts of going up and down on the roof top it paled in comparison to the greatness and beauty of this amazing cathedral. The tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly answered any questions we had and in general was instrumental for this unique experience of one of Milan most favored icons.

This is not for everyone. It was advertised as an elevator plus 50 steps up. The edge rail was rather low for those who are tall, the roof top that we walked across sloped, and there were 250 steps to get down (and no hand rail!!).
