Mount Etna
We start from the hut of the Etna Sud Alpine Guides, continue by cable car up to 2500 meters and then with an off-road vehicle we reach 2850 metres.
Valle Del Bove
The first stop will be the viewpoint of the Valle del Bove, a large horseshoe-shaped volcano-tectonic depression located in the eastern sector of Etna, it is very important from a volcanological point of view as several outcrop along the walls. On fine days the view is breathtaking.

Very nice outing with a very nice group. Our guides DE Marco and Giuseppe took the time to explain the different eruptions, the consequences on the landscape and the creation of the different craters, the consequences on the lives of the nearby inhabitants. You can feel them in love DE their island and this volcano. They like to transmit. A superb experience and a superb day of discovery I advise.

Mt Etna was a must. We had a great experience on the volcano. The guide was "ok" not great but kept us together and safe.

Honestly…. This was rough for me. The tour organization itself and the guide were excellent. It was more that the height of walking on the edge of the crater was scary and some points of the tour were challenging. It was way outside my comfort zone. Also you need to be in decent shape to do this tour. The altitude was not a problem for me and I was ever so slightly concerned about that, but the guide was very good with stopping at the beginning of the tour a few times to get everybody accustomed to the altitude. Again, the tour itself and guide were fantastic. It may have just not been for me. Pro tip: wear high socks and roll over hiking boots so rocks don’t get inside your boots! If you like adventure it’s for you!!
