The tour was top notch. We went to a Tea house. We were given all the does and don’ts of proper behavior. We experienced a tea ceremony, enjoyed dancing from a Maiko, and instrument playing by the owner, a former Geiko. Our tour guide was the perfect Japanese local guide. This is the tour to do if you want something that is authentic.

The guide (Yoshi) was fantastic! We met on time and she shared so much about growing up in Kyoto and the experience she had with the tradition of the Geisha. Her personal experiences made this extra special. The Maiko who served our tea and danced for us was so kind and we were lucky as she was one of the few who was fluent in English. She was also the same one that was on the posters in the area. Just an amazing and educational experience, I would highly recommend it.

From the intricate traditional dances to the engaging conversation and warm hospitality, every moment was a delight. If you're looking for a unique and enchanting experience, I highly recommend it. It was a glimpse into a world of beauty and refinement that I will always treasure.

This was such an interesting experience. We were able to meet and talk with a Maiko and ask her all our questions. The performance was beautiful and the tea and snacks were great. We really learned a lot!
