What To Expect

Meet your guide in the heart of the French Quarter to embark on your 3-hour walking tour of world-class restaurants. Your passionate guide will escort you to famous restaurants in the French Quarter and Riverwalk, including a few that are commonly mentioned in cookbooks. You may sample red beans and rice at Napolean House, chargrilled oysters at Seafood Treasure, and beignets at Cafe du Monde. Learn about the rich legacy of fine food in the French Quarter and which hotspots to check out on your own later; you can even work with your guide to customize the tour to your interests. By the end of the tour, you’ll have a full belly and a better understanding of the fundamental dishes that makes up New Orleans cuisine. This was a definite highlight of my trip! Our guide, Jack, was wonderfully knowledgeable and delivered information in a fun, easy-going manner. He was very approachable and provided fun facts and insights into each stop that you wouldn't get on your own. We saw new parts of the city, ate delicious food, and made new memories. I would HIGHLY recommend and will definitely encourage anyone I know visiting New Orleans to do this tour.

This was a last minute plan for our first day in town. It was a perfect start to the trip. Wonder food and drinks, a fantastic guide (Jack), and great people to experience it with. I can’t say enough about how wonderful and knowledgeable Jack was. Learning the history of the area was an amazing bonus.

Nate was an excellent tour guide who kept the conversation going and gave a great overview of each stop along our way. The food and drinks were delicious. My favorite was the rum punch. The duck gumbo was exceptional. Our group was fun and we felt like we made new friends.
