5.00This was a great half day trip to explore the Fushimi district! We met our guide using the train system and had a quick visit to a shrine. From there, we had a great visit to the sake distillery where we watched a documentary, visited the museum, and had a generous tasting of their sakes and finished our trip with an incredible boat ride along the canal. Would highly recommend this trip for a group looking to explore a more quiet neighborhood and learn about the history of distilling and the canals!! As one of the earliest groups on the tour, Katz was a great guide and we would recommend it to anyone visiting Kyoto!!
