Constructed during the 6th century under Emperor Ly Nam Đe, this over 1,500-year-old landmark is steeped in history and spiritual significance, located on the tranquil West Lake.

Walk past Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Square, a site of deep historical and cultural significance, and visit the iconic One Pillar Pagoda. Optional: Want to explore further? Step inside the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum in the morning (8:00–10:30 AM), except on Mondays and Fridays when it is closed. Customizable Option: Prefer a different attraction? Choose from the Temple of Literature, Hoa Lo Prison, or various museums. Your tour guide will help create a personalized experience to match your interests. Able to see many sites in a four hour window. Transportation was comfortable. Guide was average (and the guide can make or break the experience). This half day tour was more expensive than our full day Ninh Binh tour.
