Larissa was so much fun! She showed us all the local hot spots and made sure we had the best of the best! She explained everything from history, culture, etiquette and cooking techniques! She even taught us how to cross the street without getting hit! Highly recommend!

This was the perfect way to explore The Old Quarter, try new foods and learn more about Hanoi and Vietnam. The foods we tried were a delicious assortment, many of which we would likely not have found on our own, and we ended with the most gorgeous egg coffee, before heading over to watch the water puppets. Jackson was a charming and knowledgeable guide and it was fun meeting fellow travelers!

My fam and I had a good experience with our guide and with the food tour in general. There are just 2 things that could’ve made it a better experience. First, we were pretty much full after the first meal. It would’ve been better to order food for 2-3 people at each restaurant. Kids can’t eat much. Heck, adults can’t either. All that to say, our family paid $161 for our tour and didn’t eat nearly as much food as we paid for. It’s just too much food. I wish we could’ve gotten money back from what we didn’t/couldn’t eat. Second, the first restaurant was wonderful, but the next two seemed like low quality choices. With what we paid, I would’ve loved, for example,a great bahn mi, one that didn’t have cheap ingredients and liver in it. On the positive side, our guide took care of us and kept us safe crossing the street. He answered our questions and spoke English well. I would 100% do a tour like this again, but I’d love for the two points above to be addressed.
