The tour was excellent, very well run and the included buffet lunch was very good. The tour guide was knowledgeable and pleasant. He advocated tipping the boat rowers, the driver, and himself, but only once and in a dignified way (unlike the guide from the Ha Long Bay day tour that I took). I think the tour companies should pay their guides and drivers more, but maybe that makes no difference in tip solicitation. I didn’t give 5 stars for my experience not because of the tour company, but because Mother Nature didn’t cooperate (it rained quite hard so we couldn’t see much); summer would be a better time and provide a better experience.

Excellent experience, our tour guide Tyson is the best, he is very knowledgeable and friendly. Thanks to his knowledge he makes all the entrances to the points of interest very easy and uncomplicated, everything was great. I definitely recommend him. All the places are wonderful. thank you very much.

Pretty good, your guide Tim was great, tour was a little slow but I think that was because of the incompetence of the other people in our group.

This trip was long and exhausting but so fun!! Our tour guide speaks English and told us many jokes and lots of history of Hanoi and Ninh Binh area. He made a difference whether your 12 hour day is going to be good or bad. There is a lot of driving but all is forgiven once you get off and get to go on a boat ride, bike ride, and a hike with an amazing view!
