Start your tour at the meeting point at No.38 Bat Su Street (if your hotel is within the Old Quarter, our guide will pick you up), and head to a traditional restaurant specializing in entrees such as Bun Cha, and fresh spring rolls. Have a taste of some popular and classic Vietnamese dishes. Moving to the next place, let’s try the famous Vietnamese Banh Mi (with pork/chicken/egg). It’s really a harmonious combination of ingredients (chicken/egg, different herbs and vegetables and sauces). Next, enjoy Pho (mixed version), which is Vietnam’s most famous dish. Try both the beef and chicken versions. Definitely don't miss out on a Vietnamese traditional dessert called Kem Xoi (Sticky Rice Ice Cream). There are both hot and cold versions for each season. At the final stop, we will pay a visit to the train street to catch the moment the train passes by. Let’s enjoy a local drink while waiting for it. Don’t forget to take lovely pictures together to capture our moments together.

The best tour we’ve done. Paul’s sense of humor and food knowledge are unmatched. He had a really deep appreciation for history of Vietnam. We would definitely love to do the tour again if we had a time to come back Hanoi again!

We thoroughly enjoyed the tour with Ethan. He is confident, speaks great English and makes you feel right at home. I thoroughly enjoyed the selection of food. It gave me great insight into cuisine in Hanoi, as well as local culture from eating habits, schooling and working hours. Thanks Ethan for not just a food tour, but for a tour on culture in Hanoi.

Mona was a great tourguide. She took us to great places with a lot of info about all the dishes. She told us about the way you should eat everything. In my opinion its a great way to start your trip in hanoi.

Great experience. Mr Long was very knowledgeable. A very enjoyable evening. However a group of 13 is too large really. Ideally 8-10 persons would work better especially for the food and keeping to the schedule.
