This is a return day trip transport service from Auckland City Ports Of Auckland and Auckland Airport to Hobbiton. Hobbiton Movie Set Tour is provided by Hobbiton Tour Guides in their tour bus. ENTRY COST of Hobbiton Movie Set Tour is not included in the transport cost. You will have to pre purchase your entry ticket online from their website. Recommended to buy entry ticket online for a guaranteed Hobbiton Tour. Once you have purchased your entry ticket then we can work out the time to leave Auckland. Travel time each way is approximately 2 hours. Travel distance each way is 170 kilometres. It’s good to leave Auckland 8am and return back to Auckland by 4pm. You will have 4 hours of travelling time and 4 hours for Hobbiton Movie Set Tour. After your tour you can have your meal at onsite cafe called Shires Rest. After your meal we will leave for Auckland. We are flexible to suit your schedule and driver will stop for you on the way if you need to stop for refreshments and etc. *** We are only providing transportation to and from Hobbiton ***

5.00We had a perfect experience with Sanjeev and our transportation to and from Hobbiton. Communication with him was clear and easy. We arrived to Hobbiton ahead of schedule and were able to get on an earlier tour. The van was clean and comfortable, and Sanjeev was pleasant, friendly, and a safe driver. After a week of driving ourselves elsewhere in New Zealand, it was nice to leave the driving to a professional and relax for the day. Highly recommend this company for transportation needs in Auckland!

5.00Friendly and efficient driver (Sanjeev) picked us up outside the cruise ship and drove us to Hobbiton. On the road he pointed out interesting landmarks and told us a lot about New Zealand in casual conversation. Clean car. Buy your Hobbiton tour tickets first and he will advise regarding pickup time.

He was communicative throughout booking process, was on time on the day of (and even brought us water bottles for the drive), and catered to on-demand toilet breaks during the drive to and from Hobbiton (we had 3 kids in the car). Vehicle used was not new but clean and drove well.
