5.00This tour has surpassed my expectations, the landscape, the greenery, the flowers were stunning, .. our guide Andrew was fantastic, he had a sense of humour and explained everything .. it’s a bit hilly but the views are breathtaking.. we visited one house inside , we were able to touch , sit on chairs, bed ., it was an incredible experience!

5.00Jon was punctual, friendly, got us to our destination early, no rushing. He provided tour highlights along the drive. Wind surge on the highway was extreme but his driving was precise and safe. Hobbiton movie set experience was fantastic.

5.00Jon was an excellent Tour Guide. Prompt quick pickup. Small group. He told us a ton about Auckland and NZ but also let us sleep some of the 2 Hour drive to the movie set. It was the perfect balance. He later provided us some light snacks and was patient with us as we perused the gift shop. He was very friendly and knowledgeable and I would definitely recommend him to anyone in the future. The tour was awesome! I’m not a huge LOTR fan but I enjoyed myself in the village shire. I would recommend this small tour to anyone because you cannot find anything like this outside of New Zealand. I definitely made some friends jealous with my pictures.

5.00The Hobbiton Movie Set experience was just that—a wonderful experience! From the ticket purchase, transportation, guided tour, and the site itself, I was happy and satisfied with everything provided! The hobbit homes and setting were very exciting for a LOR fan like myself. The info given on the making of the movie and the players involved, made me realize what a large endeavor this was 🙂.

1.00Zero stars Auckland and Beyond tours refuses to refund the $570 we lost after we were not able to make the time for pick up…we disclosed cruise ship arrival at port time, wharf area and were assured that it was going to work. Hours before excursion was to start company emailed and said they would be arriving 10 minutes before our ship was even going to dock/arrive in port. Subsequent emails informed us we would be considered a “no show” if we weren’t there and their policy is no show=no refund. Needless to say Auckland was Awful and we will never return to the city or use this company.

5.00It was Greta experience visiting Hobbiton and feeling like you are really in middle earth. Our guide/driver Adil was the best! He was very knowledgeable, helpful and fun. He gave us all the useful tips and even showed us things unique to NZ that was not part of the tour. He went above and beyond to make our tour so much fun. Highlight of our Auckland trip!

5.00Our tour guide Nancy was outstanding. She was friendly, polite and informative. She was very knowledgeable and made the ride pass quickly. The tour of the Hobbiton movie set was charming. It was much larger than I expected and was perfectly maintained. Everyone commented on how they would love to retire in a Hobbit House - so quaint and cozy!
