Great tour to experience cuisine as locals do, as opposed to touristy areas and establishments. The guide Carrie was very knowledgeable about Kowloon area and knew little out if way eateries and shops that tourists would miss. It really helps to have someone who knows the language and familiar with the food to be able to order for us and provide cultural reference. Overall very fun and informative, and of course delicious experience.

This is a truly excellent food tour! It's a bit off the beaten path so I felt like I was getting a proper local experience, while also ticking off some Michelin-starred and famous foodie spots. My tour guide Carrie was fantastic - very knowledgeable about local food and history, and she came very well prepared with things like water and tissues. We went to six different food establishments and the food was so fresh and delicious. Carrie also gave me a little booklet with the locations and how to order the dishes in Cantonese - this is super useful for going back to these places and is an added touch that I've not seen at other tours. In terms of logistics it was easy to find the meeting point and as a solo traveller I felt very safe and looked after. All in all I highly recommend doing this tour and will definitely be recommending it to everyone I know!

I really enjoyed my Sham Shui Po food tour with Carrie. She was a friendly, well-informed guide, and we visited several well-established local restaurants to savor their specialties-it was fun to meet some of the staff and watch the chefs prepare food. I also really enjoyed learning the history of the neighborhood (manufacturing past, currently has specialty streets selling electronics, garments, plants, etc), in addition to hearing stories about the restaurants and their founders. We also visited other unique shops including a knife shop, a button shop and a traditional bakery. Needless to say, I was very full after sampling the wide range of snacks from the tour. Thank you, Carrie, for such an interesting tour and for making Shum Shui Po come alive.
