Cathedral Cove Walk

Cathedral Cove is most beautiful and "Must Visit" Site on the Coromandal Peninsula. The cave and beach was used as the tunnel through which the Pevensie children first re-enter Narnia in the movie version of The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian. More recently the cove was used as one of the locations in the music video for the song "Can't Hold Us" by Macklemore & Ryan Lewis featuring Ray Dalton.

Sharma is the best! He watches for the tide and makes sure you maximize the optimal time at both Cathedral Cove and hot water beach.

This trip was unique and a lot of fun. Sharma was an excellent guide and was flexible. We appreciated his guidance and communication before, during and after the trip. He was absolutely focused on making sure we had a good time and got what we wanted out of the trip. I would absolutely book with him again!

We had an awesome driver that made the experience so much better. Be prepared for the long walk down to Cathedral Cove. Hot Water beach can get crowded but it's an experience.

WOW I could not believe how hot the sand was in the thermal area!!! Nature is amazing. Bring a shovel to dig up an area of sand then plop down, best to do it closer to the shore line so you can jump in the water. There is a shower for rinsing off and bathrooms at the Hot Water Beach. Cathedral Cove was really nice, it is best to go when you have your own transportation so you can stay as long as you want. Very picturesque.

Loved our trip to Hot Water Beach! While Cathedral Cove is closed, the tour was very responsive to creating new opportunities to see things in this beautiful peninsula. Sharma, our tour guide, loves his job and it shows. He even went above and beyond advising my husband on how to navigate driving left side to the road, which we will be doing later. Hot Water beach is a unique experience and we felt like we spent the day with a friend.

Tour guide was accommodating so we could leave at the same time as another party we were with. Private tour, just 5 of us in a very comfortable ride. It was everything we asked for. Perfect weather, spectacular scenery . Just a really fun day! Thank you Sharma for a perfect visit to Cathedral cove!

Great private tour experience! Sharma was extremely attentive and had a lot of good tips and suggestions for our stay in Auckland! He captured some fabulous pictures of our family! Definitely recommend if looking for something smaller than group tours.

Loved Cathedral Cove. Nice driving by Sam our guide. We enjoyed the ease of getting picked up and brought to cool sights. Wish we had a little more time at each, but other than that great trip!
