4.00Stefano was a great driver and researched any questions he did not know the answer to while we visited the sites. Our guide at the Catacombs was incredible and Saint Paul Outside the Wall was a highlight.

5.00The catacombs were interesting but the group size was a little to large st the site given the close quarters. The facility guide was hard to hear on many occasions. The graves themselves ws wuite interesting. The Appian Way was kind of special being the first paved road in the world. St. Paul’s Basilica (second only to St. Peter’s) is quite spectacular and visiting during the Jubilee made it even more special. Guide was excellent but the vehicle was too small for four people.

3.00We were a little disappointed in this tour. We were picked up by our guide Alessandro in his vehicle that smelled strongly of cigarette smoke and taken to the catacombs of Calixtus. He bought our tickets and left us in line to go for the tour. Our guide there was excellent. He then drove us to see the old road of the Appian Way (a very short drive.) He offered to take us to see St. Paul's Outside the Walls which we did. We felt he was more of a driver than a tour guide. He had a lot of information to convey but his English was not as good as expected. I think the title of the tour is misleading and the cost was too much for what was offered.

5.00Catacombs were very interesting and our guide for that portion of the trip was quite knowledgeable. Our driver/guide (Georgian) for the rest of the tour was awesome! He took us to St Paul’s Basilica, which was not on the description. First class experience.
