The Loch Lomond tour from Glasgow has a little of everything that Scotland has to offer, from a leisurely cruise on bonnie Loch Lomond to the mountains of the ‘Highlands in miniature’ and majestic Stirling Castle.
Leaving Glasgow, we’re soon in Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park, an area of outstanding natural beauty where Rob Roy MacGregor was celebrated as a hero and an outlaw.
Learn about the area’s lawless Vikings and feuding clans during a loch cruise. At sumptuous Stirling Castle step back in time to the lavish days of Scotland’s Renaissance kings and queens.

Luss
We visit the conservation village of Luss, where tidy rows of cottages stretch down to the bonnie banks of Loch Lomond and are brimming with floral displays in summer. Luss is a tourists’ favourite, especially its picture postcard Church founded by the Celtic Saint MacKessog. In its churchyard lies a legacy of the lawless Vikings: their 11th century ‘hogback’ Viking grave, a stone-carved sculpture.
Balloch
Here our passengers have the option purchase tickets to join a 1 hour boat cruise on the beautiful Loch Lomond. Enjoy the picturesque scenery and learn more about the area. Those who prefer to stay on dry land can explore Balloch Country Park.

Tony, our guide was friendly and professional. He was an excellent driver and very knowledgeable. Instructions were clear and he was very helpful. Loved the cruise and the walk around Luss. Stirling Castle was interesting. I particularly liked the tapestries and the musician playing multiple medieval instruments. I like the fact that this tour gave us choices about how we shaped the day. As an added bonus we got to meet Baxter and Honey, the highlands coos. All in all a great day.

Stirling Castle was not as impressive as expected but understand the protective restorative costs for making this accessible to tourists. The site of the historical battles were interesting.

The tour was great and full of lots of history. Mark, our tour guide, was awesome and super knowledgeable. He did a great job at getting the group engaged in his stories. The boat tour was beautiful, so I would recommend taking that instead of walking around town. The castle was also beautiful and I would recommend doing the guided tour which comes with your ticket. The drive alone was also a beautiful journey and it was nice to see the view from the car. We even got to see the Hairy Coos which was a nice little surprise! It was a great time all around.

Nice, knowledgeable and helpful tour guide. The stops were well adapted in both time and length. Points of interest we visited.
