We loved visiting the Churchill War Rooms. The audio guide was a great way to tour this building. You get great information and you can go at your own pace. I would recommend this tour

The war room was very historic made. You actually feel like you were back in time experiencing the atmosphere. The museum within the war room was incredible with live video and his speeches of his voice were chilling. The overall experience with very emotional and moving and as a historian, you will find it amazing. The only issue I have was I booked it on via tour however they never downloaded the actual tickets just a voucher that was a challenge for our representative at adore it kind of stressed me out that it wasn’t what I needed it when I paid all that money.

After thoroughly enjoying three other London tours—each led by knowledgeable guides who enriched our experience with insight and context—we were genuinely looking forward to the Churchill War Rooms audio tour, along with the accompanying political walk audio guide. Unfortunately, this experience fell far short of expectations. Upon arrival at the War Rooms, we quickly realized that no representative from Vox was present. We waited for some time, assuming perhaps there was a delay, but no one ever arrived. Thankfully, we had the QR code that allowed us entry into the exhibit, or we would have been left completely stranded. What made the situation even more frustrating was that when we spoke with the museum staff, they remarked that Vox representatives typically do show up, which only deepened the confusion and disappointment. We paid $170 CAD for a Vox representative to be present at the museum gate and review any issues we had with the audio download of London’s political history, only to receive the basic museum entrance—which is priced at $132 CAD. This left us feeling misled and frankly taken advantage of. We had trusted the tour operator based on previous positive experiences and were expecting the same level of professionalism and engagement. Unfortunately, this tour was a let down. Save yourself a few dollars and simply pay the museum entrance.
