Piccadilly Circus

Piccadilly Circus is a road junction and public space of London's West End in the City of Westminster. It was built in 1819 to connect Regent Street with Piccadilly. In this context, a circus, from the Latin word meaning "circle", is a round open space at a street junction. The Circus is particularly known for its video display and neon signs mounted on the corner building on the northern side, as well as the Shaftesbury Memorial Fountain and statue of Anteros.

Trafalgar Square

Trafalgar Square is a public square in the City of Westminster, Central London, established in the early 19th century around the area formerly known as Charing Cross. The square is named after the Battle of Trafalgar, a British naval victory in the Napoleonic Wars with France and Spain that took place on 21 October 1805 off the coast of Cape Trafalgar, southwest Spain, although it was not named as such until 1835. Nelson's Column is in the centre of the square, flanked by fountains and guarded by four monumental bronze lions. At the top of the column is a statue of Horatio Nelson, who commanded the British Navy at the Battle of Trafalgar.

Excellent 👍 time! Freshly baked and served afternoon tea time. Unlimited drinks for all the time during the journey. Guide and places driving are true, accurate and make the story. Recommended if you are hungry in a hurry and want to have traditional English afternoon tea and need tour around central London. Two things in one go saves your limited time!

  • The vintage double-decker sets the tone!

My friend and I had a great time on the Great British Afternoon Tea Bus Tour. The cool vintage Routemaster double-decker from the 1960s set the tone for the whole experience. Sitting at the front of the bus on the upper deck, we had a good view and a more immersive experience. It was terrific to see the sights of London, ride a double-decker bus and enjoy a classic British tradition of afternoon tea all at the same time! They had a wide selection of top-quality (refillable) teas to choose from, served with delicious finger sandwiches, sausage rolls, cakes, pastries and freshly baked scones with jam and clotted cream. The 90-minute bus ride took us through the heart of London, passing by many of the city’s most famous landmarks, including St. Paul's Cathedral, the Tower of London, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, Trafalgar Square, and more. But with all the delicious food in front of us, it was hard to focus on the sights! Although the staff (who were attentive and very helpful) pointed out some interesting things along the way, there wasn’t a full narration on the bus. This experience is more about enjoying the tea, scones, and scenic views, but I think it’s definitely worth it!
