This show is spectacular in places. The performances are all amazing as said by most people hear the muses are OUTSTANDING. For me this is much more of a fun musical than something like Matilda which I found quite boring! Having said that there were some points that were a bit odd. It’s a very difficult thing to re-create a cartoon on stage especially one like Hercules which is quite an old film. Some of the puppets they used were incredibly effective for example the hydra and a representation of all the dead souls of the underworld helping Hades in his battle against Zeus. But they were a couple of other puppets that just seem stupid and were quite distracting. There was some kind of weird rat monster and a red Minatour. I wonder if they took out the lion because audiences would not like the idea of a lion being skinned, so therefore they replaced it with the Minotaur. I thought Phil was great. The singers in the show are incredible but it was a bit of a downer that they changed his song but most of the songs the best ones from the film are still in there on the whole we really enjoyed it and the theatre is incredible. It’s a sellout every night.

We were really worried about the mixed reviews of this production because it’s my favourite Disney film but I am (very) happy to say it was incredible and we would definitely recommend it! It’s not verbatim of the film but the changes and new songs still made it enjoyable. I think if you go in with an open mind and that you are going to see an adaptation you will be pleasantly surprised, it still has the humour and Disney magic. The set and costumes were beautiful, the talent on stage was OUTSTANDING , the theatre itself is stunning and all in all it was a fantastic night out.

Had a great time watching Hercules in the theatre. The atmosphere was great, funny humour, the storyline had changed slightly which was strange and they added an extra song for Meg but overall a good show to watch,

The show wasn't up to expectations at all, as a disney musical it didn't live up to the standards we expect from disney shows. we left during the break between the sessions.

I was worried after reading some poor reviews but we absolutely loved it. Yes it is a little cheesy in places but the singing is amazing (the Muses really are the highlight). Would I see it again? No. But if you'd like to see a new show, it is definitely worth a visit.

OH MY GOD!!! Where do I start??!! What an absolute disappointment this show is! For someone who is Disney mad and booked tickets for this as soon as the dates were released…I was so excited about seeing it. Disney got Aladdin, Lion king, Beauty and the Beast and Frozen spot on so I thought my mum and I were in for a treat!! Wrong!! It was awful!!……acting (if you can call it that) and singing were terrible, no Pegasus, no pain and panic and Phil being a bar owner??!!! Whatever was that all about??!! The one liners were cringy and Hades was like some awful pantomime villain! If they just stuck to the original wonderful Disney film and brought that to the stage like the other Disney productions then they would have had a winner!! And as for the ‘monsters’!! I’ve seen playschool kids make better with play dough!! If you love the film and are thinking of seeing this…my advice is don’t!! Save your money and stay at home to watch the film again. This show was the worst one I’ve seen in the west end….and two hours of my life (and £78 ticket fee!!) I won’t get back!!

We watched the matinee on Saturday and thoroughly enjoyed it. Standout performances were the Muses, Meg & Hades ( this was the first performance by a new person in this role ) We laughed, we danced in our seats - loved every minute. I have been going to musical theatre in London since the 70's. Seen all the 'big ones' and a few I would prefer to forget - so I think I can give a fairly knowledgeable & unbiased opinion. Suggest you ignore the poor reviews and go.. I'll see you there as it's one I would definitely go to again. Well done to everyone involved 🤩

I was so excited for this after all the hype but unfortunately left feeling deflated. The storyline was weak and there was no comedy like the film has from James Woods and Danny Devito. I also didn’t feel that the Hercules was strong enough. The muses stole the show let’s be honest, they carried the show in fact. The set looked cheap and amateur too. Would not recommend sorry.

Terrible show, dont come to see this show if you are a fan of the animated disney hercules! This is a woke remake pantomime version. They do not tell you this, they made too many changes for the "MODERN AUDIENCE" making Hades camp, hercules found by a single mother, Meg as the main strong independent female character, too many cheap unfunny jokes. and changing characters such as pain and panic, and making phil into a human rather than half man half goat, cheap looking puppet monsters, in short, just another disney woke ideology catering to the gay and woke community, which I would have no issues with if they did it with a new concept show and not changing the good old things we came to see. In conclusion I was very disappointed and for them to charge up to £130 a ticket to see a cheap pantomime is outrageous
