5.00This excursion was the highlight of our week in London! As history and aviation enthusiasts, we wanted to see the IWM in Duxford, but there was not an easy public transportation option from Central London. We were thrilled to find this private tour, which far exceeded our expectations. David, our fabulous guide and driver, was personable, professional and extremely knowledgeable. We came away feeling that we had a new friend. The Duxford site is amazing, as it is an active airfield where you can see planes fly, plus the exhibits are extensive, with vintage War Planes and vehicles, but also a Concorde and an early transatlantic plane to tour. And don’t miss the OPS room reenactment.. so moving. And our guide made the return trip extra special, by driving through Cambridge and showing us a ‘secret’ part of London that we would have missed, and it was truly special. Simply, a perfect day
