Cool to buy the ingredients and see the markets. A bit weird touristy with the boat trip. Good food!

5 What an amazing day. Anna was an amazing guide showing us through the local good markets and describing all the different herbs and vegetables. The coconut boats were great fun. Small charge to go on a boat and be spun around but very minimal £2. The cooking class was amazing whole family loved it and we will be trying the recipes when we get home. Anna send over all the recipes, recommendations for restaurants and took lots of pictures of us. Recommend very highly.

The market tour was very I retesting with our guide Hon, he gave us insights in fruits, vegetables and spices that we couldn’t have known if we had gone on our own. The coconut boats were fun but what I enjoyed most was the crab fishing, and just for that it’s worth it. Hon was such a friendly and patient teacher during the cooking class, I highly recommend this activity.

When I made a reservation, I received a Japanese message confirming my reservation. We didn't know where they were on the day, so we joined them safely through a message exchange, and the guide said he could understand kanji! The first step is to procure materials in the market. The guide will explain the ingredients, including vegetables, fruits, fish and meat. You can taste ingredients that you don't see in Japan, and a sense of localness that you can only go to with local people! I don't think it's a good idea to take large luggage with you because the street in the market is narrow. Walk about 15 minutes from the market to the fields. We saw and tried vegetables and fruits grown without pesticides, and took pictures with the tour participants (they sent us pictures after the tour), so be careful, as the fields were after the rain, so our shoes would get dirty. It is about 5 minutes by car from there. We arrived at the guide's house (cooking studio). The house is beautiful and very clean! The cooking was in English only, but you can see it and most importantly you are a good teacher so don't worry! I don't cook at all because it's easy cooking, minced vegetables, stir-fried ingredients, rolled up, etc. That's fine. The food, of course, was all excellent! Actually, it was the best of my trip to Vietnam! The guide's homemade fruit juice was also delicious! And what about a water purifier to drink? You can drink the water that comes out of the It wasn't just one plastic bottle. There was also a cute dog! But you can't go in while you're cooking, so I'll stay outside! On the way back, he showed me how to use Grab and paid for a taxi (I wonder if that's included in the tour price?). It just so happens. Anyway, the guides and chefs were kind and the food was delicious!! I recommend it.

We take 4-hours class. We do shopping with guide at traditonal market after then we experience the farm garden such as vietnam vegies. Food taste is excellent and the all employees there are very kind. I recommend people who want to learn cooking vietnam food to attend this class.

The cooking class is running at a clean and beautiful house and the chef provides a cooking guide in english fluently. We learned 4 dishes and the foods were very delicious. I truly recommend this cooking class if you want to have a special experience in danang.

Apply via Traveloco. Take a Japanese-speaking male guide to experience shopping at a local fresh food market, walk to an organic garden and see how herbs and vegetables are grown. It was interesting and fun to see vegetables, fruits, chunks of meat, chickens with toes on them, pig's feet, livers, and various fish being sold up close, because we couldn't get into the local food section by ourselves. After that, they will cook four Vietnamese dishes under the guidance of the guide's sister. Cooking instruction is in English only, but if you are worried about your language, you can do exactly what you are asked to demonstrate. I cook and eat four dishes, chopping vegetables, making sauce, rolling spring rolls, and stir-frying and grilling. My daughter, who was in the 1st grade, was enjoying it the most. Fried spring rolls are very popular with 6-year-old boys! Fresh juice from lime and mango was also delicious. It was a very good tour, everyone was kind and kind to little children. Recommended

It was a great morning. Two of us were taken through the market and we had all the ingredients explained to us. We went to see the veggie garden and got to taste various items then we went to the cooking class. It was well organized and very easy to follow even though we were English and Russian. The meals were simple and practical and we were made to feel completely welcome and really at home. I would highly reccomend this.

We had a great interesting and informative trip round an authentic market to buy the produce that we would later cook. The cooking lesson was excellent and delivered with a very friendly humour. The lesson was so good that even my cooking tasted great.

Studying Japanese will guide you, so you can easily understand the details. The teacher who taught me cooking also taught me a lot of cooking without waste in a familiar flow, and I was full of knowledge and hunger. Thank you very much 😊
