It was awesome! We learned a lot and could ask as many questions as we wanted. It was a real crash course on Japanese tea. We really wanted to learn a lot so this was perfect, really worth the time. The only thing is that we should have eaten a bit more to balance all the tea we drank, but otherwise it was really perfect, would recommend to anyone with some interest in tea.

This was an intimate, informative and enjoyable overview of Japanese tea - how it is grown, processed, and enjoyed. It was a great experience, with lots of tasting, time to answer questions and make your own matcha the right way. Chisei and his wife were great hosts

This was one of my favorite experiences in Tokyo! They provided a wealth of knowledge as a former tea farmer about the tea we got to experience. His wife made DELICIOUS homemade sweets (best I had on this trip!!!) and we even got to eat tea leaves- a delightful experience I did not know was even possible. Overall, book this experience for a unique and meaningful time! We learned a great deal.

I really enjoyed learning and I found it to be so informative. We were able to drink a lot of great quality Matcha! For foreign travelers- English speaking is good and he goes into the farming process which I find very interesting.

It was engaging, informative, and offered a wonderful glimpse into the cultural richness behind this simple yet significant tradition. I left with a deeper appreciation for both the tea and the mindfulness that goes into its preparation. A passionate and knowledgeable instructor who patiently answered all my questions.
